The Cob and Pen is a charming, detached cottage-style property of brick construction with painted elevations under a pitched slate roof. The premises has benefitted from various
sympathetic alterations and extensions providing four adjoining trade areas, with a mixture of stained wood and stone flooring, with some carpeted sections and feature open fuel burning fireplaces. 

There are exposed timbers and brickwork throughout the pub, with many retained features providing a genuine rustic charm. The trading area comprises a function room, which during normal service is set up as a games area with a fruit machine and pool table. There is then a narrow a central bar
with access to a large trade patio and two dining areas on different levels providing a further 40+ covers.

The fully kitted trade kitchen is at one end of the pub and the cellar at the other end of the pub, also on the ground floor.

The pub has a massive external area, comprising of a garden area with approximately 15 picnic style tables, a large childrens play area and a brick built permanent BBQ area. There is a 30-space car park.
