The Horse and Rainbow is a large pub, it’s in the heart of the Lakeland hub of Kendal. Situated in the middle of the town opposite the Town Hall. The pub has been a feature of the town social network for many years.

The bar area is spacious and has the benefit of a comfortable dedicated seating area on two levels.  The higher level has small booth areas where customers have their own tv.  The higher level also has its own darts area after a recent refurb.   It has a view onto the main shopping street. A separate games area with pool table is located to the other side of the bar. There are very large cellars in excellent condition, several storerooms.  The Horse and Rainbow opens its doors to locals and holiday makers along with the dog walkers which visit kendal regular.  

There is a beer garden with seating to the rear, which is a great feature for the summer months, also utilised as a smoking solution. This pub is one of the few pubs in the area that benefits from a substantial car park for up to 30 vehicles, with entry via All Hallows Lane.
