When passion meets purpose, incredible things happen, and last week’s Charity Golf Day was proof of that!
Organised by none other than our very own Craft Union recruitment consultant Neil, this event was months in the making. Neil poured his heart and soul into planning every detail, from securing the perfect venue to personally reaching out to suppliers and partners to get involved. And wow, did it pay off!
Held at the beautiful Stratford Park Hotel and Golf Club, the day brought together an amazing mix of suppliers, operators, publicans, and colleagues for a full day of golf, community and, most importantly, charity.
Together, we raised an incredible £9,000+ for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), a cause close to many of our hearts. 💛
From the very first swing to the last raffle ticket drawn, the energy was nothing short of electric. Players made their way around the course with a smile on their face (and perhaps a bit of competitive fire in their eyes), all while championing an important cause.
Our fantastic drinks partners made sure no one went thirsty on the green, huge thanks to:
Carlsberg, Coors, Britvic, PepsiCo, Jaegermeister, Budweiser, Thatchers, and Timothy Taylor for keeping everyone hydrated and happy. 🍻
And the fun didn’t stop there. Raffle prizes galore kept the excitement going, with epic giveaways that had everyone crossing their fingers!

Behind the scenes of all this brilliance? Neil. His dedication, creativity and sheer drive made this entire event a reality. He rallied the team, reached out to sponsors, secured the venue and even brought in the sunshine (well, maybe not literally, but we’re giving him credit anyway 🌞).
It’s safe to say Neil’s efforts didn’t go unnoticed, and we couldn’t be prouder.
