About the Pub

The Beagle is an impressive detached pub sitting on ¾ acre of beer garden and car park. The property fronts Foxwood Lane in Acomb, York, which is around two miles south west of York City Centre. The area is full of chimney pots which provide a big potential community market.

The pub is arranged to provide two bars at either end of the pub. Both bar serverys are traditionally decorated and offer a good range of products. The front room area has a very sporty feel, with live football being shown on several televisions and two pool tables to accommodate the games teams. It is warm and welcoming with a comfortable mix of fixed and loose seating for 58 in the games bar and a further 40 in the back bar.  A separate family room sits to the front of the pub which could provide a space for functions when needed and has covers for 12.

A large beer garden sits to the front of the pub as well as a patio with several concrete picnic benches. A large car park wraps around the building and provides space for 30 vehicles.
