About the Pub

The Biddick Inn, located on Bonemill Lane in Washington, Tyne and Wear, is a historic pub and restaurant overlooking the River Wear. Established in 1827, it originally included a brewery and has been recently renovated. It offers a mix of traditional British charm and modern dining, featuring a left-hand bar for real ales and a right-hand lounge for meals

The venue operates as an Italian and Greek cuisine restaurant, known as The Biddick Italian Bistro, and hosts events like steak nights, wine or whiskey tastings, and live music from local artists. Its traditional Sunday dinners are especially popular.

Nestled near the historic Worm Hill, the Inn is easily accessible with bus stops nearby.  Close to Sunderland, Houghton le Spring and Washington Village.
