About the Pub

The Castle Inn is a traditional village pub with something to offer all members of the community. Already popular for well-kept cask ale and home-cooked food,  A lovely beer garden has plenty of furniture for customers to relax with drinks or dine al fresco. The Castle Inn is one of two pubs in the village . Whether new to the trade or an experienced operator, Stonegate Publican Partnerships is interested in hearing from those who can provide a warm welcome whilst attracting new customers.

This cosy, one-room operation is traditionally decorated with carpeted floors, some wood-panelled walls and an exposed brick fireplace. The pub has a great reputation for well-kept cask ales, and a range of these can be found on the central bar servery, along with international brands. To either side of the bar is a range of loose tables and chairs, stools and fixed bench seating for around 30 covers. There is room for live music, which has proven particularly popular at weekends. The well-equipped trade kitchen is in good condition and ideal for supporting a traditional menu.

The patio garden to the front of the pub is visible from the main road and provides a highly visible retail offer to passing trade. This pleasant space could benefit from plenty of greenery and hanging baskets, and there is a range of picnic furniture and space to seat over 40 guests. A large car park to the rear of the building can accommodate 20 vehicles.
