The Crown is a beautiful pub in the village of Shillington, almost equidistant between Bedford and Stevenage. This one bar operation is classicly decorated throughout with low ceilings, exposed beams and a panelled timber bar servery. Accessed through a separate entrance the public bar and lobby has slate flooring and panelled walls to picture rail level. The lounge is carpeted throughout with padded bench seating and a wood burning fire with brick surround. The restaurant area is carpeted throughout with exposed brick walls and a vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams. This area is comfortably set out for 60 covers with double glass doors leading to the external trading area. The patio area is directly accessed from the restaurant leading onto a grassed area with circa 30 covers. A large L shaped car park is located to the front and left hand side with space for 35 vehicles.
