The Dog And Fox is a very attractive country pub situated in the charming village of Ashley. The pub is popular amongst the local residents along with visitors, all of which enjoy the warm atmosphere and the great food and drinks offer. At present food is served every day at early evenings and for Sunday lunch. The pub has two main bar areas: a relaxed lounge with loose furniture and a wood burner overlooking the garden and the other is a cosy locals bar with a real fire. Both are traditionally decorated and can accommodate up to 30 throughout. Additionally, there is an adequately sized meeting room which could be used for private events. A trade kitchen which is fully equipped to support a traditional pub menu is also onsite. Externally, there a large lawned trade garden with play equipment on two sides, this is particularly popular in the summer months. There are picnic benches in the garden and tables and chairs outside the front of the pub which can seat up to 30, this can be expanded with further seating in the garden. There is an outside toilet that could be refurbished and useful in the summer when the pub is busy. A large car park is also onsite which provides space for around 30 cars. The private accommodation is located on the first floor and includes a lounge and bathroom and on the second floor there are two bedrooms.
