Not offered in a number of years, the Globe presents an excellent opportunity to those budding community Publicans to grow the current trade and put the Globe on the map as a real centre of Stonehouse life.
The Globe is a well-located and attractive pub, on the High Street of Stonehouse and is one of only two pubs in the town centre. The pub has excellent facilities consisting of a lounge bar, public bar, skittle alley/function room, and a suitably sized catering kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity to expand on the good local trade, which is currently wet-led only, and capitalise on the additional trade opportunities locally.
To the right-hand side of the building, there is a lounge bar with seating for approximately 20, with traditional fixtures and fittings and parquet flooring. There is a through bar from the main bar which services this area, but it is currently not being utilised. The main room has seating for approximately 30 and is more modern in its décor, with televisions, games machines, a juke box and a pool table. To the rear of the building is a skittle alley/function room that can cater for parties and events, with the ability to hold approximately 80 covers.
