The Midland occupies a very prominent site, opposite Cheltenham Spa railway station. The position and facilities will give a new publican the ideal opportunity to maximise the trade from both locals, and visitors alike. The internal trading has two main bar areas. The front bar is a snug, carpeted throughout with traditional fittings and 25 covers. The main bar room doubles as a games area with a pool table and darts board, and this is also used as a lounge and restaurant for 26 covers. Downstairs from the main trading area is a large function room which can comfortably seat 60. It is regularly used for weddings as it has its own bar, a stage and a dance floor and live music is also held here when the races are on. The trade kitchen leads onto the function room and is fitted out to provide a good traditional food offer and with some development would be able to produce a quality menu. There are twelve letting rooms available, three of which have showers, the rest have shared bathroom facilities. To the front of the pub is a raised patio area facing the main road. There are several picnic benches that provide 24 covers in total. A small car park is located to the rear with space for six vehicles.
