The Peacock Inn is a fabulous traditional pub, located on the famous "Brampton Mile", otherwise known as Chatsworth Road, one of the main roads leading in a westerly direction out of Chesterfield town centre towards the Peak District. The pub has a real traditional feel, a two-room operation serviced by a central bar counter. Both rooms offer a range of comfortable free-standing tables and chairs, with one room also having a log burner and TV screen, and the other offering a quieter space to catch up with friends. The pub has a "hidden" beer garden to the rear of the premises with wooden benches on a grassed area for approximately. 32 covers and a children's climbing frame. There is also a full-size marquee on the patio to the rear of the property, which can be hired for functions and private parties.

The internal trading area consists of two rooms, both with an array of freestanding tables and chairs. One has a television screen and log burner, the other offers a quieter and relaxed atmosphere.
