On the corner of Queen Street and West Street just off the Town Centre and only 300 meters from the seafront and 100 meters from Deal Mainline Rail Station sits The Queen Street Tap, a friendly local pub and hotel with 8 ensuite rooms.

The Queen Street Tap is currently a Managed House with a sports focus and additional regular late-night weekend activities such as the weekly DJ and Karaoke sessions that benefit from its 2 am late licence on Friday and Saturday. It is a popular venue with town centre workers, shoppers, residents, tourists and leisure visitors alike be it to just hang out during the day or after work it’s an excellent venue for watching Sports and enjoying the DJs on a Friday or Saturday night, whatever reason you visit you can enjoy pub food and a great selection of wines, spirits, real and craft ales at The Queen Street Tap.

You enter The Queens Street Tap via the front central doors and directly ahead of you along the rear wall is the large L-shaped 12-meter bar servery. This ground floor trading space is open plan and openly flows to the right with high bar stools and tables, a Pool table and a sports viewing area that also hosts the weekend DJ activity. To the left side of the pub is a casual seating layout with a mix of dining tables and chairs, fixed banquets, 2booths with TVs and a large circular window seat.  In all the internal layout accommodates circa 90 seated covers with a max venue capacity of circa 150.

On the first floor and accessed via the rear patio garden external staircase are the 8 double/twin rooms all with ensuite shower rooms.

To the front is a double-fronted terrace with approx. 30covers and at the rear is the courtyard patio garden with 10 benches and covered booths accommodating approx. 60covers.

As a venue, The Queen Street Tap holds a reputation throughout Deal as the place for Late Night Entertainment and Sports viewing! Its open-plan bar space is perfect for creating both a high-energy night-time entertainment vibe yet also a lower-key daytime environment great for getting a drink and a bite to eat with friends. With its great sound system, 8 TVs and projection screen it consistently creates a reason for people to visit and catch the big sporting events or enjoy a Big Night Out with friends, it is especially popular with football fans on TV match days.

Current weekly activity includes a popular Quiz Night, Pool, DJs and Karaoke on Fridays and Saturday evenings utilising the 2 am licence.
