The Queens Head is a spacious village pub in the heart of this rural community and is the only pub now trading in the village for the last 2 years. It retains many attractive original features, including exposed timberwork and an excellent outdoor area. There is an inviting public vestibule entrance directly off the main street into a welcoming public lounge bar, which has fitted carpets and wall-mounted TV screens, for live televised sporting events, with a fully-fitted, timber panelled, licensed servery with an excellent range of draught and cask beers. There is a limited food offer, with a separate dining room with a serving counter.

The pub’s indoor trading area has three sections. The first is a quiet lounge with a mix of comfortable fixed and loose seating that presents a warm and relaxing atmosphere. There is also a dedicated games room with solid timber flooring, a pool table and dart board, as well as wall-mounted television screens for live sporting events. A dedicated dining area is conveniently located next to an over-the-counter service top, which leads through to an extensively equipped commercial kitchen. The pub has a large car park which can comfortably accommodate 20 vehicles. Alongside it runs a small beer garden, furnished with picnic benches that provide seating for up to 20 people.
