About the Pub

The Railway Hotel is mainly a wet led traditional, community pub on the main street through Llandaff North, adjacent to the local railway station and facing the main shopping area. Upon entering the pub, the bar is to your right, which is a large open space furnished with loose seating for around 30 customers, a large screen and multiple TV's for sports viewing. The bar servery is on the left-hand side, which leads into the lounge to the left or out to the patio to the right. The lounge is a long room, with fixed seating beneath the windows and can accommodate over 40 covers, it is well suited to dining and connected directly to the good-sized commercial kitchen. In addition, there are three en-suite letting rooms, finished to a high standard and to the rear of the pub is a skittle alley. Both features offer prime revenue streams which could be explored further and better utilised to greatly benefit the business. The first of the outdoor spaces at the Railway is a decked area with a pergola and festoon lighting. This moves onto the paved patio in the centre of the pub, furnished with picnic tables. Combining both of these areas there is seating for up to 100. Beyond the skittle alley, to the rear, is a large garden area that's currently not being utilised, and it has a marque erected at the latter end, close to the car park. Off road parking is available, with spaces to the side of the pub for around 15 vehicles.
