The Seahorse is located in a sought-after location in Gosport, close to the sea front and Lee-on-the-Solent. The pub has built up a reputation for good food in the area and has been invested into by the current publicans so is in immaculate condition. The pub is attractive and very well-presented with fresh, modern décor throughout. There are two main trade areas that are linked together by the bar servery which is of a fantastic size to serve the pub, even at full capacity. One of the trade areas is more commonly used by the local clientele who regularly enjoy a casual drink in relaxing and welcoming surroundings. There are several wooden tables and upholstered chairs that can accommodate up to 45 guests. The second room, although not excluded from the main drinking area, is utilised as a restaurant where there is room for 30 guests. The trade kitchen is of a good size and is very well fitted; it is capable of producing high quality restaurant food. Due to the size of the Seahorse, live music and varied entertainment would be very beneficial and would draw in additional revenue and new custom. The patio is a very attractive feature of the Seahorse; it is covered, has heat lamps to ensure year-round usage, and can be accessed just outside the public bar. There are bistro-style tables and chairs that can accommodate 30 guests. A lovely lawned beer garden to the side of the patio has picnic-style wooden benches and welcomes further covers. There is a new decked area to the front of the pub which is accessible. The car park wraps around the pub and has space for 10 vehicles.
