About the Pub

The Ship Inn is a great community pub in St Thomas on Swansea's East Side. Situated next to Pentreguinea Road, the pub sits on a major route in and out of Swansea leading to the Liberty Stadium and Llansamlet beyond. It is a one bar operation which naturally divides into bar and lounge areas; the bar area frequented by drinkers and the lounge area lending itself more to dining. Watching sports and live music nights are key occasions at the pub whilst remaining the hub of the community and the Ship is also a great place to meet friends and neighbours for lunch, or at teatime for a drink.

The bar and lounge have recently been decorated and are in very good order, with around 30 covers in each side of the pub. A bar servery offers traditional beers, lagers, and cask ales, as well as plenty of space for optics and other products. There is a well-equipped commercial kitchen to produce a traditional food offer and adjacent beer cellar.

A beer garden is adjacent to the premises, with a number of picnic tables to allow for a drink or two in the sun. Next to the car park which has spaces for 15 vehicles, is a decked space for further external vertical drinking.
