The St Margarets is located in Prestwich, Manchester, on a busy road that runs parallel to the centre of Prestwich, which is within walking distance, as is Heaton Park.  Internally, the pub has a good-sized bar servery that serves the large open plan trading area, which has different zones.  Entering from the front door, there is good good-sized lounge to the right, which can be used for small functions, to the left is asnug/dartss room, the bar is also to the left, and there are more seating areas and a pool table in front and to the side of the bar.  There is also a catering kitchen, which is currently not in use and will need investment. Externally to the front there is a good-sized outside drinking area, and to the rear there is and large enclosed drinking area with an external bar.  The area to the rear was formerly the car park, which leaves only limited parking to the rear.
