The White Horse is the oldest pub in Dover situated at the base of the Castle walls near the Eastern Docks and adjacent to the Leisure centre and new shopping centre. It is renowned as the Channel swimmer’s pub and has a unique selling point with hundreds of swimmer’s names inscribed on the pub walls. The pub is surrounded by many guest houses and residential housing with a local customer base that attracts visitors during the summer months allowing heavy footfall. The White Horse has a traditional bar split into three areas providing plenty of space with a cosy, welcoming feel throughout.
