The White Horse is the oldest pub in Dover situated at the base of the Castle walls near the Eastern Docks and adjacent to the Leisure centre and new shopping centre. It is renowned as the Channel swimmers pub and its Unique selling point are the hundreds of names inscribed on the pub walls.   The pub is surrounded by many guest houses and residential housing.  The White Horse has a traditional bar split into three areas; it has a cosy, welcoming feel throughout.  The customer base is local but attracts visitors in the summer months.     The new retailer should focus on maintaining the existing trade with high quality food and drinks
