This multi-award winning pub is on the A6 towards the easterly end Disley. Although now painted white it was the 'red house' that gave the name to the adjacent road. The establishment offers real ales, good quality food and a traditional pub ambience. The pub has a very strong cask ale market with a wide range of beers being sold. Traditionally decorated throughout, the pub features a one bar and two room operation. The snug is very cosy and inviting, featuring comfortable sofas and a fireplace. The dining and lounge area contains loose tables and chairs and is a pleasant space to relax while debating what to have from the menu. In total the property can seat 110 people. Easily accessible, one long bar comprising nine cask ale pumps and many other keg taps. Optics and shelving units sits behind the bar and offer ample space to place wines and spirits.
