Welcome to the Stump Cross Inn in Halifax!

The Stump Cross Inn is a spacious, detached food-led pub offering a traditional dining experience, a well-stocked bar with a wide selection of drinks, and nine well-appointed letting bedrooms. Ideally situated in the heart of the scenic Shibden Valley at Stump Cross, the inn provides a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a generous patio area at the front of the pub, featuring over 40 covers. This sun-drenched space offers a perfect setting to relax, take in the surroundings and watch the world go by.

Inside, the pub retains its traditional charm with a classic layout. To the left, a well-stocked bar showcases an excellent selection of drinks, including traditional cask ales. Adjacent to the bar, a dedicated seating area extends into a popular pool area, frequently enjoyed by locals.

To the right of the entrance, the dining area begins, leading to a raised section that currently houses a carvery unit. The space seamlessly flows into additional seating areas towards the rear, creating a comfortable and inviting setting for diners. The restaurant accommodates approximately 75 covers, thoughtfully arranged with a mix of loose furniture and comfortable fixed seating, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
