The Star is located in the pleasant market town of Pershore, on the banks of the River Avon. Pershore is just a few miles from junction 7 of the M5 and close to the towns of Worcester and Evesham. The Star is an 'olde worlde' former coaching inn, full of history but due to a recent upgrade has become one of the ‘go to’ places in the area. The pub boasts a contemporary front lounge, rear dining area and a modern main bar which connects the two. The internal décor retains many original period features such as oak beams and open fires, complemented with modern fixtures and fittings which provide a comfortable yet stylish feel. There is combined seating for up to 60 covers within both sectors. Towards the back of the pub there is a large catering kitchen, perfect to help deliver an excellent food menu for guests. Upstairs the property extends to offer letting accommodation that has four bedrooms towards the back of the premises and adjacent to the main dining room there is a fantastic, raised decking area complete with garden furniture. This tranquil space provides additional covers for al fresco dining during the warmer months. Down by the river bank there are a number of table and chairs for guests to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere offered by the lovely setting and this area can seat around 30 covers. A unique selling point of the Star is the two moorings where guests can secure their boats and stop off for lunch.
