The Farmers Arms is back and trading with a glorious new look after being totally transformed both internally and externally turning what was a community local into the go-to destination in the charming hamlet of Frankby.
This impressive Merseyside pub reopened its doors back in April after a three-month closure whilst the pub underwent its £250k revamp and in the first week of reopening stormed it with sales, taking £50k!
The Farmers Arms announced there reopening on Facebook:
"We are so excited to announce that the 157-year-old Farmers Arms, Frankby, will reopen once again on Thursday April 6th from midday! We could talk about how we were sad to leave 18 months ago, and what’s happened here between now and then, but none of that, we are simply here to say we are back, and with a bang! Cancel your plans, because we have a launch weekend bigger than anything we’ve ever done here before!"
New features to the pub as part of the refurbishment included a complete external redecoration including new signage giving a huge boost to its kerb appeal attracting those passing by. The rear beer garden now includes a heated and covered patio area to accommodate for alfresco drinking and dining! Further additions include a children's play area and a huge outdoor screen showcasing all live sporting events and frequent live music events.
Internally the pub has seen a new lick of paint and a refresh of fixtures and fittings for guests to enjoy their favourite drinks and dishes on request. The Farmers Arms has also announced their very popular Sunday lunch is now back on the menu:
"Head down for our delicious pub menu packed with all your favourite dishes, all cooked with the freshest locally sourced ingredients. We have a little something for everyone, from a wide range of small plates to some delicious main courses that are sure to be a future favourite. We also offer an indulgent Sunday roast dinner, with a choice of Beef, Chicken or Nut Roast served with all the trimmings and a huge Yorkshire pudding on top. Don’t take our word for it, come and try it for yourself!
We can’t wait to see your faces again, both new & old."
Special thanks to our publicans Kelly and Paul and our regional manager Matt Croft, in what has been a joint effort to giving this site a fantastic new look.
