About the Pub

The Duke of Cornwall is a traditional, sports friendly, village pub set on the bank of the River Avon. The pub is popular with locals who visit for the frequent sports, pub games and entertainment. As you enter through main door you approach the bar servery which runs along the back wall. To the left of the bar, you will find the pool table, darts board and screens, this area is also used as for live music. To the right of the bar is the walkway leading onto the cafe area and skittles alley/function area. The pub does not have its own garden but does have use of the village green to the front of the pub which the council allow to be used as the pub beer garden. This area is used massively in the summer months, and allows such things as live music, beer festivals and village fetes. There is a covered smoking area to rear of the pub which has an outdoor TV. The private accommodation contains five bedrooms, three being ensuite and a large bathroom. There is potential to provide a bed and breakfast offer with the right investment from the new publican.
